Module 2

Flying Football - football... but not as you know it!

Step 1

What you need:

  1. You need a football, goalie gloves and a pitch
  2. 8 -10 players. But, very important, the ref knows the rules and can “ca-kaw” loudly
  3. Each player chooses their code name, aka a seabird, and sticks it to their top
  4. Both teams form a V and with the ref at apex of V, as birds do when flying, walk onto pitch
  5. Ref “ca– kaws” kick off!!!

Step 2

Game rules

  • Name your club after a seabird
  • If your shot is off target you pretend to be a seabird
  • If you’re the goalie and don’t save the shot you name 2 seabirds
  • If you score, you name 1 seabird
  • If you dirty tackle you name 5 seabirds
